Clean sheets. They even folded my cloths up which was a kind of them (I was in a rush to catch a train for the day to Pompeii. It was clean even though the building was old.

It was difficult to find.

expectations were exceeded. A nice, cool, clean and cheap room in the hot and loud center of Naples

The Room was very clean. Everyday change of new super white towels. Everyday cleaning of the floors. Very clean bed sheets etc. Air condition and TV. clean bath room. Wasn't expecting this for the cheap price. But other than that perfect location to visit Centro storico and everything else in Naples. Central station and piazza Garibaldi just a few steps away. From there you get easy and fast to airport etc. Stuff about dozens of immigrants hanging around the hotel entrance all day and night wasn't true during my stay.

Via Alessandro Poerio not the best or safest streets in naples. Rooms poorly soundproofed as usual and other guest not the quietest. Reception staff wasn't very talkative in English so check in and out was very quick and not very informative when it comes to things to do in the city but nice enough anyway.

The staff responsiveness in case of issues (Air Conditioning, Wifi ... )

I did not like the fact that at check out, the reception staff presented me a hand written paper saying I had to pay 3 euros x 3 nights of city tax. Not advertised, and seemed not professional if not a scam.

Excellent if you just want a hotel as a place to sleep.

The location was very convenient, minutes away from Garibaldi Station which is the main station needed for most historical places in southern italy. It was also very close to some great places to eat. Everything was essentially what I expected for the price, it was clean, had two beds. Air con and a TV. Shower, bidet and toilet. We had a small balcony which didn't have the best view but as the weather was so nice it was nice to have the doors open and let a breeze in.

The beds are very hard. The wifi isn't particularly reliable, we had to plug the router in for our floor. When going to pay we had trouble with the card reader and the member of staff insisted we pay cash which we would not do, we asked to try again later and it worked. There looks like there is a bar but it didn't seem stocked and there was never anyone staffing it which was disappointing. Whilst we were staying the Hotel was being used as accommodation for a large number of immigrants. This was not a problem however a large number of the guests would hang outside the small space outside the hotel (as there was no communal spaces) which could be somewhat intimidating (as two female travellers) when trying to get back to our hotel. (Although we did go on to get to know a couple of the men after a few days and they were absolutely lovely). The bathroom was functional but a little drab looking. The shower cubical was tiny and it seemed like there was a panel missing. The safes in the room either had been damaged or had no power. No corkscrew behind the front desk.

Not coming back.

Didn’t really feel comfortable with a lot of parts of it - for one, it was pretty sketchy around the hotel. But more importantly I found the staff inhospitable. When I tried to check in he refused to take card, although they said they would prior, and once I realized a friend from my group was unexpectedly going to stay in Naples and asked if she could stay in my room (which had two beds), I was told the rate would go up from 50€ to 150€... pretty ridiculous for a room the size of a closet. Oh and he required that we leave our keys at the desk when we left to go out, which made me uncomfortable. Not very welcoming. Would not stay again.

Staff were great and friendly. Clean room with good air conditioning.

Room felt a little dated. Shower cubicle way too small. It felt like the bottom floors of the hotel were being used as some kind of hostel. There were always gangs of men outside, especially in the evening and for that reason it didnt feel safe.

What would you highlight about Hotel San Giorgio

The staff was very helpfull, especially John with his italian friend at the reception. We came to the the reception and asked if they have some sewing kit as I got a hole on my pants. They went out and came back with full kit. We got recommendations for breakfast, there is actually a very nice cafe just across the street. Taking into consideration that we were staying in the central station area which looks a bit dodgy, we never felt unsafe (even at night). We even kept our rental car parked outside on the street in the neighbouring street and nothing happend to the car. The rooms were clean, the shower cabin a bit small but a good value for the money.

There seemed to be unproportionally much african guests staying in and hanging around the hotel. They were nice though.

It was nothing to like about the hotel.

Room extremely dirty, bed sheets weren.t changed, no tv, no wifi, bathroom that dirty and full of mold that you couldn.t even take a shower. Mold all over the walls, this place really needs a health and safety inspection !

The cockroach in my room. The stains on my bed sheets and blankets. The hair under my sheets. The slanted bed. The not working fridge. The rusty shower. The cigarette/old man's cologne-smelling room. The workers that sat outside and made kissing noises at me.

The hotel fully meet expectations of a 3 star hotel. Room is small but very comfortable. The hotel is located in the city center, very close to the central station.

Not all managers at the reception speak English. That was a little bit uncomfortable

Elevator and bathroom had a foul smell. Location close to train station but very dodge and dirty. Receptionist could help us/barely spoke English.

In general, room was fine, with big comfortable bed and working air condition.

Only one of the receptionists speaks English a bit. The rest of personnel speak Italian only. The location of the hotel is really bad - it is in the historic part of Napoli - the view from the postcards - old streets with destroyed buildings. This is some kind of black district unfortunately. IT is very dangerous there so it's good to come back to the hotel before 8 p.m. I totally don't recommend this part of Napoli for people who would like to spend nice days in Napoli without stress.
